Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Hydrega controllers, the Hydrega apps, and the optional Hydrega cloud service. This is a placeholder for our full legal terms; by using Hydrega you agree to the terms in force at the time.

1. Using Hydrega

You may use Hydrega to schedule and control irrigation in line with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for wiring, water supply and power that meet local codes and the product's safety limits.

2. Safety & your responsibility

Hydrega includes safety features — a current budget, a maximum number of concurrent zones, and a per-run runtime cutoff. These reduce risk but do not remove your responsibility to install and configure the controller correctly. Do not set limits above what your supply and wiring can safely deliver. Hydrega is not a substitute for professional installation where one is required.

3. Accounts

The optional cloud service requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity under your account. The controller works without an account; an account only enables remote control.

4. The cloud service is optional

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted cloud service. Because controllers run schedules locally, a cloud outage does not stop your scheduled watering. Remote-control features may be unavailable during maintenance or outages.

5. Software & updates

We may provide over-the-air updates to improve security and functionality. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Hydrega software with your devices.

6. Warranties & liability

Except as required by law, the service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Hydrega is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including water damage arising from misconfiguration, faulty wiring, or valve or supply failure. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; we will post the updated version here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
